I am creating this epublication to teach Physical Education to my 6º Graders students. Combining physical activity and using online tools, I pretend that my students learn how to use basic skills (jump, run, catch, throw...) and other skills like write, think, be creative, express themselves... Both equally important to their day-to-day life.
Here is a list of CLIL websites and other usefull resources that I will keep updating everytime I find an interesting website.
To start with, I would like to share a list of storytelling resources very useful for our class. As students have to relate their experiences, they will be able to use any of these tools.
Eproject Skeleton:
This is the skeleton that I have created to develop my eproject with my 6º graders students. Students are creating a blog about the sports and physical activities they practice during the week. Click on the botton to have a look to my infoEDUgraphic about sports.
I created this mind map with "Connected Mind".
It is called "I love sports!". On it, I have reflected each of the steps we will carry on during our lessons. All the illustrations are CCO Public Domain, and taken from www.pixabay.com Spring Blog festivalOn the 21st of March I had the pleasure of assiting to the Spring Blog Festival.
Before assisting to the spring blog festival, I already knew that Internet provides us of hundreds of tools and websites. But I didn't know how to find them, how useful they are or how to use them. I also wasn't aware of the wide range of interesting applications you can find navigating in Internet. I've seen the first presentation of the morning from Karen Blumberg.called “Our blog, our selves”. She talked about social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, instagram, linkedin, and some others, giving us tips on how to use them and what are they used for. I found it easy to follow even though sometimes I didn't know what she was talking about. Thanks to the fact that she was giving examples of each of the social networks she was talking, I was able to check at the same time the websites she was mentioning. I have already checked some of them and nowadays I am using them to my day to day life. Overall, the experience in the spring g blog festival has been positive, I never been a big fan of new technologies and really interested on them. But I've seen the point on using them in personal life but overcoat it's application in the classroom. It has been a very grateful experience. Looking forward hearing from it next year!
